Big Government : Déjà Vu: Another Congressman Bares Naked Torso (and More) for Online Pal<

I realized he was lying when I saw his picture on Twitter. What middle aged man uses his high school photo for his picture on Twitter unless he's cruising for young honey's? BTW, he looked like a dork then too.

The Politically Light Organization : How Long before we can get rid of Pelosi?

No matter where you live there is a way to help get rid of Pelosi and the other left wing liberals. Donate money to their opponents in the next election. The one thing the politicians understand is money. I am starting a P.A.C. to do just that. you can donate to my P.A.C. below, or donate directly to the opponents of all the left wing liberals. The only way this bill can possibly be repealed, with Obama still in office, is to have a two third majority in both the Senate and the house to override his veto. However you decide to help, just do everything in your power to get rid of all the liberals.

Why do liberals always have to stoop to name calling. I would rather hear constructive debate but it seems all you can do is resort to hateful name calling. for a fair debate check out my blog at www.thepolight.org

Sounds like a good idea but just one problem. Haven't you heard of 'keep our universe clean'? If we just throw our trash into outer space before long it will look like a big garbage dump. Actually I want no harm to any human being, that is if you consider her human. I don't know about their rest of her, but I'm sure her face is no longer human. LOL

The Politically Light Organization : How Can Immigration Reform Cure the Nation’s Ills?

Tara, I agree with you that we should help, not harm Mexico and its people and I think farm subsidies are a joke. They were put in place to teach farmers to rotate their crops after he dust bowl and to regulate the price of food. Anytime the government gets involved people find ways to game the system. My grandfather was a grocery store owner and screen door maker and repairer during the depression. He used to lease 1000 acres for $35 to $50 per year. He would then get $2,000 to not plant the land. Next year he would get a sharecropper to work the land and lease another parcel of land from someone else. Even though what he did was perfectly legal, he was taking advantage of the land owners who did not know they could do the same thing. My father was a young man and did not condone his actions, so he moved away and let his brother and sisters have all the inheritance when his parents died. With that said, you can see why I don't believe in government provided farm subsidies or any other government subsides. There is always some way to get around the rules and screw the little man.

There are many more problems I have with Obama, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't vote for a Democrat, I have voted and still vote for Democrats and Republicans. I vote for the person and their proposals, not a party. I have voted for as many Democrat presidential candidates as I have Republicans. Most recently I voted for my Representative John Tanner (D) but if I have a choice this next election, I wil vote for an independent if there is a viable candidate. I would love to get rid of all the Career 'Party Candidates.

The Politically Light Organization : Yes Virginia, There is a God!

A fellow tweeter ask me if I was a Muslim. No, I ma not. I was raised in the Baptist church but my parents liked to travel on weekends. (then we slept in our car or on top of it; at roadside picnic areas.now days you would call it camping). My father would come home Friday after work and we would leave out. Wherever we were Sunday Morning, we would attend the nearest church no matter what faith,(as long as it was Protestant) So I grew up with a rich experience of different faiths. Today, I belong to and attend a Methodist church, My son attended a Catholic school, My wife, son and I were Boy Scout leaders sponsored by a Presbyterian Church, Then our troop moved to a non denominational Black Church (Celebration of Life) then a Black Baptist church. I have worked with Jewish friends, and have attended Synagogue, and Bar Mitzvah with these friends. I have attended Buddhist Temple with some other friends. I actually joined and attended the 'Celebration of Life' church while they sponsored our troop. I have never attended a Muslim Mosque but I would like to before I leave this earth. With all these experiences I have learned one thing. Although the traditions and rituals may be different; most religious people believe in reverence to their Creator; it is wrong to do harm to others; and their religion is the only true religion. Personally I think if you follow your convictions and don't try to push your religion on someone else your Creator will look kindly on you.

Why does Obama Keep lying about the Healthcare problem causing the Recession. If that's true then why didn't we fix the healtcare system first instead of bailing out the bank, AIG, Fannie and Freedie, and the Auto Industry. We wouldn't have needed to spend all that money on The so called 'Stimulus' bill.

There are horror stories and good outcomes in every healthcare system. That doesn't mean it's all good or all bad. We just need to take our time, consider all possibilities, fix what's bad and keep what's good. Fortunately it looks like Congress will have a little more time to consider all possibilities. Hopefully the Dems and Reps will leave politics out and work on the best possible outcome for the American people. (of course I can't remember any other time where that has happened, we can always hope!)

Medicare doesn't cover everything, My mother and Mother-in-law are both on Medicare and still need supplemental insurance to cover everything. and they still need Part D insurance to cover part of their medication. By the way, on Twitter someone said it was Republicans who created the donuthole. Yes, only because they created Part D to start with. Before there was just a hole and I don't care if the healthcare plan is Obama's, the Democrats, Republicans or Martians. All I want is a plan that is efficient and works. Of course using efficient and government in the same sentence is itself an oxymoron!

All I can say is your doctor must have been last in his/her class. My doctors and hospitals are great. I very seldom have to wait more than an hour or two to see a doctor in my emergency room. In contrast, The County hospital (i.e Government run) in Memphis (the Med) where people with no insurance has an average 14 hour wait. This includes gunshot wounds. What makes you think it would be any faster if all hospitals were government run. (by the way, My hospital does not accept medicaid insurance because they don't pay enough and deny too many charges)

Sorry, but I want my doctor to make a profit. I work hard for my money and so does my doctors. If doctors can't make a lot of money, why should they go to college for 4 years, then Med. school for 4 years, residency for 2 years, then maybe 2 or 4 more years for a specialty. That is why there are not enough doctors in countries with government healthcare systems. They just become mechanics instead and make lots more money, LOL

I was in USAF years ago and experienced great healthcare but talk to any veteran who has VA healthcare, it is a very different story. I wouldn't mind as much if it was like VA but It won't be. The real problem with all countries with Gov. healthcare. When you don't have to pay for something, you use more of it. It is human nature. You don't believe me? Talk to any restaurant manager or owner of an 'All you can eat' buffet. There is a lot more waste there than an Ala Cart Restruant. That requires many more doctots, hospital beds, etc. I don't know if it's that way where you live but the last few times I have had to go to the Emergency room and be admitted, I had a long wait for a bed. In fact ,the last time I was admitted, they put me in one of the outpatient beds for 3 days before I got a room. How long did you have to wait to see your doctor last visit? That is why people die waiting for a doctor in some countries and healthcare is rationed.
