Congrats on the AOL deal. As a judge for the IQ Awards, seems we picked a real winner for 2008 Innovation Award right before the news broke.

This is a very late reply. Some of the comments to my blog got hung up. I looked at your blog and will add you to my list of Boulder bloggers. Thanks for commenting.

I thought you were one of the more informative people on the panel at the New Media Summit. Thanks for the link. I will admit I have not really viewed many Web shows just yet, but I want to give it a try.

The Converging Network : Breathing Your Own Exhaust

All very good points, and not limited to just tech startups. Putting "talking to customers" as your No. 1 on the list is key. Getting out in the community, being involved in events or an organization that perhaps is not really directly involved with your own line of business starts to give you a much better perspective that there really is a large world out there not necessarily just waiting in line to buy your product or service. And don't be afraid to ask your customers, or a competitor, why they "don't like" your product or why they don't use it or perhaps don't even know about it. When things are working out well, it's also easy to get in a rut. With positive change and product innovation, you start to fall behind in the marketplace.

Feld Thoughts : Zynga Texas Holdem Poker on MySpace

Being the occasional bad poker player who needs all the practice I can get, I added this app and can see this is certainly a winning hand for Zynga. I have Poker All-Stars loaded up on my computer and play there sometimes (not for real money). This app seems to be a pretty fun game.

Feld Thoughts : Is eBay, Google, or Apple Building a Boulder Campus?

This is really one of the closest guarded real estate secrets we've seen in some time. We wrote a similar Page 1 story a month ago at Boulder County Business Report, http://bcbr.com/article.asp?id=89441, speculating about the rumors. It's certainly going to be one of the bigger stories when if finally breaks, let's hope it really is a company bringing new jobs to the Boulder Valley.
