Quiche! It’s the most versatile and customizable breakfast item there is - eggs, meat and/or veggies of any imaginable combination, cheese, crust or no crust..... the possibilities are endless, so there’s no way to get bored with breakfast!

My love of cooking was inspired by my grandma, mom, and aunt, but ultimately started in the garden. All three raised very large gardens and preserved nearly all the food for our combined families by freezing, canning, and drying. My mom and grandma also operated large greenhouses on their farms so others in the community had access to flowers and vegetables for their own gardens. As a child I participated in all aspects of planting, growing, tending and preserving food, and cooking was a natural follow on to this process. I learned at an early age that preparing and sharing food is the ultimate form of caring for others, and nothing can replace the feeling of belonging when a meal is laid out for family and friends.
