It sounds like you care. I'm not sure why. It's not his view, he didn't post it. I'm also not a fan but I'm tired of people being so politically correct. She has a right to say that and to still have a job. Even if I don't agree with her, she has that right, in this country.

I see a house in the background. It think it's great that the nurses were there but I think any decent human walking by would have intervened to help the guy. I don't think God put the nurses there to save the guy, it was an accident, good people helped, we are thankful to them, but probably not as much as the man in the car. I do believe that God exists but I don't believe that God is what most people think of and doesn't micromanage events like this. If that were the case then why does God let little babies die from cancer? And which God lets the winning team win when they both pray to God for victory? People make God into something God is not and want to attribute only good things to God. But if you attribute good things to God then you must also attribute bad things to God.

In this case I would thank the nurses for helping out and getting it done.

I'm not a religious person but if you read the news on any level you can't possible believe that humans are evolving for the better. Seems to me that things in the news get stupider every day. If our evolution, according to your beliefs, is going to continue, we're going to "evolve" ourselves away.

This is crazy stuff. He was going to rob banks and pharmacies and take what he wanted to maintain his life up there. Completely sick and useless to kill his wife and child to do this.

Many factors can cause your body not to burn off the calories in a normal manner so even if you're not over consuming for your body's needs you can still gain weight or not lose it. Especially women who are approaching menopause. We have to get educated, as a nation, and work against those factors.

You would be surprised at what is considered obese, on the medical charts. I've seen some people that are not super huge but who meet the criteria for obese. You're right though that the comments here are not going to inspire the health of these women. I would tell them that they can lose weight and get in better shape. They might not want to right now but when they do it IS possible.

I lost 68 lbs. without any issues and now I'm sick and going through lots of medical testing. I go to the gym every day and I eat salads, roasted chicken, fish or light seafood, no sugar, no bad carbs, I'm religious about it. I can't lose a single pound and I want/need to lose more. I've switched up the exercise, the weight used to just melt off. It's not a plateau, something is not right. Even the metabolic prescription that I take hasn't helped like it helps other people. So, I think to paint a broad stroke of why people are overweight is not fair, there are legitimate medical issues but we can't use them as an excuse. 99% of the overweight world are not suffering from a medical issue. For me, it's not an excuse, I go to the gym even if I don't want to, I make a salad even if I want chocolate, I just do it. So, just keep in the back of your mind that the person that you might be judging as not having a medical issue, just may have one, and may be working really hard.

What exactly is a "traditional marriage?" According to statistics it would include a divorce at some point. Do we really want to promote that type of marriage? How about supporting marriage for everyone so that everyone can just live and let live? Someone marrying someone of the same sex doesn't rub off on you. It also isn't going to lead to the downfall of society if more people who are in love are able to practice the ritual of marriage.

I believe it is her form of protest to make sure that attention is drawn to a subject.
