Thank you -- what I was saying was certainly not an \"eye for an eye\" thing. The premise of what I wrote was that for years Madonna cared little about what affect she's had on any of our children. I didn't let my children watch Madonna nor did they see her movies or listen to her music. But her sexuality was pervasive and she became an icon and her music and message defined more than one decade whether children were allowed to listen to it or not.

What I was attempting to convey was that as a parent we and our children were affected by Madonna and she was unwilling to stop what she was doing even though she likely knew it was negatively affecting young kids.

Now that she has children of her own --- when they are threatened, albeit in a different way, she reacts like a Mama bear, as well she should. I thank God her children are safe...but the affect she had on our children, which she refused to curtail, in some cases, is too late to correct.

I just think its too bad she wasn't as sensitive as she is now to the well being of children if she had been we wouldn't be having this conversation.

At this point, I'd be impressed, seeing as she shields her babies from what she exposed ours to, demands an apology. That's all.
