First, you were incredibly rude and condescending to the general who has sacrificed more and worked much harder to earn his stars than you have to earn your position. His achievements did not benefit from his spouse’s business profits, slimy political donations, and deceptive duplicitous rhetoric. And to think that any Congress member would feel that they deserved any kind of respect after what you all have done to this nation is ludicrous. We know who really serves this nation. And we know who serves themselves. The general calling you “ma’am” was a compliment with which I do not agree. To ask him to call you “senator” only confirms why you most likely don’t deserve any laudatory titles except “the former senator from California”, much less “ma’am”. Every last one of you on Capitol Hill deserve term limits and nothing else from the tax payers of this nation – no pensions, no health care, and nothing else that would be better provided to the least of the citizens of this nation than the most corrupt and egocentric of our citizens. I will never be ashamed of my country. But I am ashamed of the people who govern it. Sincerely…."
