I grew up in the south. I have heard the N word. It was a word used often by my grandparents generation. Not by my parents. My children have never even heard the word. But my children are young. Some day they might put a CD in the player and come ask me what that word means. I will tell them that it is just like the R(racist) word. A word used by one group to hurt, insult, and damage another group. I will tell them that it is a hateful word used by hateful people. And maybe in another generation both words will become extinct. Jake Chesser
