After watching the first episode, I saw all 8 episodes in one sitting it was that good. I spent a whole Saturday mesmerized. I laughed in every episode. It was such a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend it.

His Super PAC bit went nowhere so now he's shifted gears and is going nowhere with a phony Presidential bit. How does this guy have a show?

Big Hollywood : 'The Guard' Blu-ray Review: Gleeson Gets His Close Up

I loved Gleeson since Braveheart (remember who?) and this movie was fantastic. I loved Cheadle as the sophisticated FBI agent who can't understand the country-bumkin Gleeson. The end of the movie is thrilling and leaves open the question for a sequel. Great movie.

Big Hollywood : Will 'American Horror Story' Scare Programmers into Following Its Lead?

I think Dexter, Boardwalk Empire and the new Homeland fit right in. I loved 24 but you are right, there is only so many times a corrupt US government official can work with terrorists for Jack to save us from.

Big Hollywood : 'Boardwalk Empire' Review: One Big Flaw Short of Perfection

I love this show. It does have some scenes that are like dead air but for the most part its well done. Sunday nights are so good this year with Boardwalk, Dexter and Homeland. Last night's Homeland was awesome. The show keeps you guessing, but you end up where your suspicions take you. Speaking of dead air. I have officially written off 'The Walking Dead." That show is all melodrama and no zombies. If I wanted bad overacting with occasional sex I'd watch a soap opera.

Big Hollywood : 'The Thing' Review: Prequel Can't Replicate Carpenter's Classic Scares

If one remembers the original, it had the ridiculous habit of everyone a) smoking in every scene and b) opening and closing doors. No one stayed in their rooms, they were always walking out the door. In addition the monster was an oversized carnivorous plant. The 1982 remake did a great job of creating the isolation of the Antarctic base. You could also feel the cold through the actors. And it was ingenious in creating a creature that gobbled up victims and then replicated their looks. Plus the soundtrack was awesome.

Big Hollywood : Comedian Katt Williams Bravely Stands Up For America

I love how Mexicans here in America can say that anything west of the Mississippi is Mexico and that the border crossed them. I also love how they try to lump their experiences with those who were slaves here in America, when in fact, most Mexican nobles had slaves themselves. That guy in the audience does not know his history. Mexico was not ripped off. Talk to American Indians about how they feel about Mexicans. The invasions by Mexican armies into Indian Country led to slaughter long before the US Army ever set foot on the plains. It is a little known fact that Mexico was relieved that Texas became a republic because they hoped that would provide a buffer from the raiding parties of the Comanches who kicked Mexican ass for over 350 years.

Big Hollywood : Hollywood's Broke: AMC Network In No-Win Situation

I think AMC has been hit and miss. I like Mad Men, but I hated The Killing. I hated the Killing because it was an entire season of boring episodes that dealt with the personal lives of the investigators rather than the investigation, and in the first season finale, we get an arrest and a scene that suggests that they arrested the wrong guy. That means we get another season of who done it guessing and episodes on whether the sister got the victim into prostitution.

Big Hollywood : Trailer Talk: 'Red Tails' Is a Story That's Already Been Told, Right?

Tuskegee needs to be told and re-told. If they wanted to add a new angle, they should add in the story of Booker T. Washington, who founded the Tuskegee Institute. Hollywood re-makes every movie it has ever made. I love the story and I hope it is better than the HBO movie with more action.
