Breitbart.com : Al-Qaeda seeks WMD, US unprepared: reports

I am on the 831st page of the 1,168 pages of ( no, not the "health care" bill), "Atlas Shrugged". I am amazed by the similarity of events unfolding in this story, written in 1957, to what's happening, little by little, in our country now. Some passages which particularly struck me: pgs. 130 thru 135, on "Equalization of Opportunity" or why it's unfair for one man to have more than any other man....to prove there is no meaning to life, that morality is laughable, logic is vulgar. Property rights are a superstition and can be seized at any moment simply by people who can... articles written using only lies without regard for proof....that it is evil to work for profit , that it is more admirable to be needy than to be a person who gives to those in need. Anyway, the book shows what happens when people stop paying attention and let the government slowly, then forcefully, begin to take over their lives. I think it is a wake-up call for all of us to stop thinking that extreme government control can't happen here.

Seriously, I'm waiting for my marching orders, but no one seems to be in charge of our outrage....what do we do, seriously?

Big Government : Tea Parties: The Biggest Mistake We Could Make in 2010

One thing I keep coming back to when thinking about the T.P. movement and those of us against this terrible health care bill; they are believed to be and talked about as being exclusively Conservative/Republican concerns. I don't see it this way. There are as many Democrat citizens against this government takeover as there are Republicans. It's the Democrat lawmakers who are against what we are about. We should highlight this fact in everything we do; it's truly a bi-partisan movement. Most Americans don't want this country to be ruled by Socialists. Let's try to unite the country we are trying to save by focusing on "the people" and not on any one political party.

Breitbart.com : Holdout senator rejects abortion compromise

I continue to be amazed and saddened that abortion "rights" is of #1 importance to so many people in this country. Some people will vote for a candidate who is pro-abortion no matter what else the candidate stands for. I know women who vote on that one issue alone......not caring or knowing anything else about that person and saying nothing else matters to them. Pathetic!

Why hasn't anyone demanded a hearing in Congress about these murders yet? A week after the insignificant security breach where two people got into the State dDnner at the White House, a hearing was convened yesterday!! This is beyond any understanding.....what are "they" waiting for.... another terrorist attack?
