You rock.
As for Bill Clinton, he wanted to have Bin Laden eliminated during his administration but the Republican-laden Congress at the time pooh-poohed it and accused Clinton of being overdramatic.

Thank you Xavier. I get so tired of these dunderheads' pitiful cries that nothing has happened "since" 9/11. So, what was 9/11--chopped liver?? 9/11 should never have happened to begin with, Cheney et al. had all the info they needed to prevent it, but did absolutely nothing.

And to the rest of you, thanks for your negative feed-back on my posts. From the likes of you, it's a supreme compliment.

Cheney's carefully crafted house of cards is toppling all around him. He's losing everything he's worked so hard to manufacture, and he reminds me of Mortimer Dukes in Trading Places screaming "Turn those machines back on, Turn those machines back on!" He assures us that those memos exist that "prove" torture works, because he'll write them himself.

Yay, raysot, I agree totally. For the life of me, I cannot understand how some heterosexuals are so threatened by the idea of gay marriage. Biblical schmulch is simply a convenient excuse. Just a theory...

Good for you, Ken. It's so ironic that Repubs are saying this now, since no one got closer to turning our country into a police state than Herr Emperor Bush.

It was Palin's choice to live her life in a way worthy of Jerry Springer, the media is simply reporting it. It's a completely sexist view to think that her personal life decisions don't count in assessing her ability to hold higher office. What happened to her daughter, as well as Palin's response to it, is an accurate reflection of Palin's own life choices, which will also mirror her choices as vice-president.
