I have no idea what these units cost to make and install. Call me old fashioned but I would prefer to measure how much gas and electric I use by reading the said gas and electric meters that have been hanging on my walls for years and years. And if I wanted to save a massive 28 quid a year I would think the easiest method would be to turn the gas down and turn off a few lights...hardly Einstein stuff. I think a very usefull meter to be promoted is one that attaches itself specifically to politicians a***s, that measures the quantiy of crap produced on a day to day basis.
