I have already started the process to move to another better paying postion. Janitors start at $8.72 per hour. We are a grade A. For me, this job is just a steping stone, but there are others who chose to stay in this job and to be able to live on the wages they pay for janitors is s slap in the face. I feel I am better off then even some who have been there longer then me. I know of one family where the Mom has been with the company for many years, the Dad has been there for just about a year, the son almost 2 months and they have no savings.
