PERFECT example being the article in the Times today : Teen pleads not guilty to robbery, his sixth arrest in 14 months. Need I say more?
You could put job opportunities on every corner of every street in S. Seattle. It wouldn't make a difference. These people would much rather hurt others and steal from them. It gives them purpose because they were raised to be absolutely nothing. They've never had any discipline, positive role models in the home, nor do they have a single ounce of empathy. It's not just the kids down there. Every time I am down there in a public place, such as safeway, I see some obnoxious, obese black couple going at it screaming at each other and fighting in public. I was at the S. Seattle post office recently and had a black woman scream "stupid white bit** at me because I stopped to let a pedestrian walk (in a parking lot). The saddest part is.. I know this woman screaming at me had at least 5 kids at home that she is probably raising. And thats their role model? Imagine what would have happened if I would have turned around and said "shut the f**k up (insert racial slur)". I don't feel sorry for these people. If they want to kill each other, so be it. Unfortunately, it has crossed the line and too many innocent people have been murdered. If the thugs would be properly punished for the initial crimes, they wouldn't be on the street killing innocent people in crossfire.

Probably because house fires don't call ahead and say "hey, I'm going to be on fire in 30 minutes, please come save some people". Nor do kitty's meow out for a super hero to come... It's a pretty safe bet that there will be some sort of trouble outside of a nightclub around closing time. Just basic common sense I guess?
Well this one's easy to solve. Hope Pierce county police can do better than Bellevue when they have something so obvious in front of them......
So much for everyone feeling bad for her after yesterdays article. I swear I read dozens of sympathy comments about how scared she must have been for her life.......
Curfew or Segregation and she'd be alive.
I'm so torn on this. I'm afraid that this country will regret not letting the Afghan government deal with this soldier. The backlash may be horrific. On the other hand, I totally sympathize with what any soldier goes through and I can't say I wouldn't snap as well. I know if this happened here by an Afghan, I would be waiting to hang him myself! And I would be furious if he wasn't charged and punished here.. Personally, as wrong as this is to say, I hope he spends his life in a mental institution rather than prison. Start the td's now..... I just hope his family is safe and his kids are kept away from the media and everyone else trying to get at them.
