I found an LA Times story about the 1994 boycott of Florida Orange for hiring Rush to be the Florida Orange Juice's spokesman. The left back then was saying he hated women and gays and yet Carbonite was a sponsor of his show for how many years? http://articles.latimes.com/1994-06-24/news/mn-80... Carbonite dropping Rush is a result of leftist activists calling and calling and calling his sponsors to get them to stop advertising and nothing else.

I just called to cancel Carbonite and the rep said to just delete the software from my computer. So, I asked about a refund for the 2 years left that I had prepaid and he said I would have to reply to an email from them identifying myself so they could put the refund on the card that I used. I said I wanted that email because the only reason I was cancelling was the CEO decided to drop Rush and the rep said he supported me!

This whole contraceptive feint is to rile up the youth vote. Those Republicans want to take away your contraception!!! Carbonite fell to the activists and has ended their advertising on Rush. I am cancelling Carbonite today and buying a fire proof vault to keep my hard drive backups. This is the 2nd time I have stood up for Rush. The first time was in the early 1990's when NOW tried to launch a boycott against Florida Orange for having Rush as their spokesman. That time all I had to do was buy a carton of FL orange juice!

Please look up "Revenue Act of 1913" This is the bill you refer to that gave us the income tax. Income taxes had been previously ruled unconstitutional so Taft proposed the 16th amendment in 1909 to put a tax on corporations. Wilson later on bastardized this to pass the 'progressive' income tax thru the revenue act. So, Taft's attempt to make a tax on corporations constitutional led us to Wilson's eventual income tax. And Wilson had absolutely zero to do with passing the 16th amendment.
