Big Government : Judy Ancel Responds: 'Affront to Democracy and an Attack on Students' Right to an Education'

So making a video public that was created at a public university is somehow wrong? I hope the author of this work explains. I'd like to hear.

Big Government : Union Official, Professor Teach How-to College Course in Violent Union Tactics

Does anyone have the court case that requires you to have the professor's permission prior to recording in the classroom? This video series is an extreme, but may show an effective tool in combating the bias that permeates higher education.

Big Government : Thursday Open Thread: Constitution Edition

It is the American people that lead this country, not our elected officials. This is a good token to honor the people of the United States, but should not be considered abnormal. Citizens of this country need to continue to "wake up" and demand proper representation. We should use this opportunity to bring up the constitution in our conversations with whom we associate and encourage people to discover for themselves what it means. Don't depend on your elected officials. YOU are the sovereign of the nation.

Big Government : The Long, Dark Tea-Time of the GOP's Soul

I found this a well thought out piece. I have been working with candidates in and out of the parties to determine where they stand. Many of the candidates across the nation are identifying themselves with the principles and values of the 9-12 movement. http://912Candidates.org publishes their commitment.

912Candidates.com : 9/12 Candidate: Peg Luksik | U.S. Senate

912Candidates.org is a group of 9-12ers who have created a process to identify and support candidates willing to pledge their sacred honor to these same principles and values. We work with a variety of 9-12 organizations some of whom endorse candidates, and others who do not. We ask that each 9-12 organization consider our contracting process as a good (although not perfect) method for identifying candidates. We hope that what we do will empower the constituency of each race to have a better understanding of their candidates and make a more informed decision because of our efforts. Thank you for your efforts in restoring our republic. Your contribution to our nation's future is appreciated.

912Candidates.com : 9/12 Candidates' Convention Announced!

His program is short-term. These principles and values are long term, and I welcome whoever has purchased inorout2010.com to model their efforts after what we're doing on this site. I will even share contact information for our candidates to allow them easy access to getting their program started. Glenn is Glenn. His program is good, and contributes. Our activities here make a contribution as well, and I'm not going to discourage anyone who's making a contribution to fixing our nation. He doesn't need to encourage or acknowledge us to make a difference. Thanks for your input.

Big Government : Pork Report: September 28, 2009 **LINKS FIXED**

Not so fast there folks. He has a fundamental problem with little things like "THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES." Coburn is a bailout voter which means he believes that the commerce clause authorizes him to "purchase assets and equity from financial institutions in order to strengthen its financial sector." Yeah, not entirely what I thought the commerce clause was saying. His record in the Senate is NOT entirely conservative. His current standards now seem to be growing from the fact that it's the "other" party he's saying "no" to. At the moment this man currently represents me. I appreciate the work that he's doing, but his record shows that he's a part of what's wrong in Washington. He helped let the water out and now he's trying to patch it with bubblegum. Sure, at least he's recognizing that the dike is leaking, but it shouldn't be too hard to notice when you're the one who made the hole. The rhetoric here in the state from the GOP is "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater." Well, that's a great saying, but it doesn't give my children back their future. We've run the math. At a 40 hour work week, minimum wage, my kids will owe 10 weeks of their life to paying off their share of the bailout. Thanks a lot Senator Coburn. 2/3 of the people who currently represent me in D.C. are bailout voters. Sorry, I'm a veteran. If you take that out to preserve the constitution, designed to "preserve the blessings of liberty" then YOU DO IT--even when it's inconvenient.

912Candidates.com : A July Update

Dear Chris: I appreciate you identifying more information regarding one of our candidates. Since our goals including providing information to help constituents vet their future representatives your information is quite useful. I would recommend that you post it under her announcement so it makes it easier for her potential constituency to read. I would also suggest that you review the "about" page on this site. It is not the responsibility of 912Candidates.org to vet candidates. We require that candidates pledge their sacred honor. We appreciate all of our candidates who are willing to sign, and expect that their signing as well as their defining and describing each principle and value (Their 9/12 Platform) will serve as a discussion point between the candidates and constituents. We try very hard to ensure that it is the constituents making the decision about who to vote for and no one else. As an organization we assume a limited risk with each candidate. The constituents have the greatest risk, and their investment in finding good representation should outweigh ours. This website provides some service to the constituents in publishing those who have signed, as well as allowing comments to further elaborate on each candidate. I'm glad you care enough to post your concerns, and hope that the discussions in this forum will help all of us find candidates who represent the values we teach our children.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Stand Up & Lead

Already done. In fact, it's a rather well defined program. http://912candidates.org This week a number of folks are writing Glenn Beck's producers to have three of the candidates on the air. If you'd like to help us, please spread the following message: In March, Glenn Beck launched the 912 project laying out nine principles and twelve values to live by. Since that time, Jacob Roecker launched a project supporting candidates who hold those principles and values. Rand Paul, RJ Harris and Adam Kokesh signed on to the pledge, as well as many others. A couple of weeks ago Adam Kokesh visited with Glenn Beck and told him about the 912 candidates and their pledge. The producers at the Glenn Beck Show have indicated they may be interested in having 912 candidates on Glenn's show. Rand Paul, Adam Kokesh and RJ Harris need your help. You know what that means, right? It's time to spread the word that Rand, Adam and RJ are here to restore our republic, our liberty, and bring the nine principles and twelve values to Capitol Hill. Call, email, fax and send messages on Myspace. Be cordial, yet engaging, and tell them Glenn Beck needs to support 912 Candidates, Rand Paul, Adam Kokesh, and RJ Harris by hosting them on his TV show! EMAIL: Glenn Beck: glennbeck@foxnews.com me@glennbeck.com wesurroundthem@foxnews.com http://www.myspace.com/foxglennbeck Producers: Stu: stu@glennbeck.com Joe: joe@glennbeck.com Fox News Channel: comments@foxnews.com CALL: Call and ask to speak to Glenn Beck’s Producers. Phone: (212) 301-3000 FAX: Fax Attention Glenn Beck Show Producers Fax: (212) 301-4229 Fox News Channel If you’re in the area, stop by the studio and ask to leave a message for Glenn Beck’s producers. 1211 Ave. of the Americas, New York, NY 10036 "It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." - SAMUEL ADAMS . Please ensure that this message gets the widest distribution possible. This is a significant step in restoring the relationship of "We the people" to our elected officials. As we prepare to restore our republic we will have to practice talking to our neighbors and building communication chains. This is a good message to send to "test the waters" with people you don't normally associate. We are very close to tipping the scale in drawing attention to 9/12 Candidates. Your effort will contribute to the cause. Please don't shy away from an easy opportunity to promote a solution for our nation. Thank you.
