Does anybody think that The Last Airbender will become a trilogy?

I just don't have a good feeling about it, like it will open below studio expectations and further tarnish Shyamalan's career.

No sorry, I think IMAX is 15-16 where I live. 12.50 is general.

Holy crap, $16 a ticket?

And I thought I was getting ripped off at $12.50 (toronto)

This movie's probably going to suck, but I'll check it out opening day regardless.

Don't quite know yet if I'll buy advanced, it'll probably be running every 30 minutes at my local theater.

And there is an IMAX theater about 30 minutes from my house, its not worth it to go for the long drive, especially since it is usually sold out in advance. I managed to see TDK there, but had to sit in the very front row, which sucks ass especially for IMAX.

Great, another video site that doesn't allow international streaming for me to fret about.

My local suburbanite theater DID eventually get The Wackness, in early August. It only played for 6 days though. Proabably because nobody ever effing heard of it.

I hope they get Moon. They do get a few indies/low theater screen films. They even played The Assassination of Jesse James, I got to attend opening weekend in their big 400 seat auditorium, which was awesome, and there was even a huge turnout for it.

Some scenes in Twilight had the same sort of dark tone that 30 Days of Night did. I think he could be a good fit, especially if he ups the action/violence.

Trick R Treat looks like a fun Halloween movie...but I doubt it would click with mainstream audiences who expect dumb bloody gorefests at this sort of season (eg SAW). Warner seems to agree, and rather than give it a release where it would fail to find an audience theatrically, maybe the home video release is the right way to go, a stronger more appreciative audience definitely lies there.
