Compare that with a gas motor not GM (my 89 Trooper has 250K miles doesn't burn oil and runs great. when the engine does go it only costs fifteen hundred to replace not fifteen thousand.) This means the volt is worthless after maybe a year or two because a new buyer would be looking at a $15K replacement cost in a relatively short time. If this thing depreciates like all other GM products, by year 8 or 80,000 miles one would have to pay about $10K to get rid of their Volt. And with the traditional GM quality the entire car might fall apart around the battery before that happens. Bet they turn green then! My last gm product was an olds diesel. same promises, same crap.
