Big Government : Richmond City Audits Local Tea Party After Standoff with Mayor

Looks like some room there on the lawn. Why not pull in a few motor homes with tea party logos and protest with them. Make the City select on an open stage.. If you can't beat them join them and if you can't join them OCCUPY the occupiers and take them over. I'll donate a few bucks

Poor Newt, With Russia and Turkmanistan on the north and Afganistan on the east who does he think he is fooling. Sure, we'll all just get along. Let's ruin the oil fields? As I understand it Iran exports oil so sho would it hurt? Us. Let's see. Russia on the north...Surely they will go along with us because they like us...not in my lifetime.... Let's see, nuclear power is needed if other power is not cheaper and available. So an embargo would just accelerate their program. Newt is an idiot. Good staff guy but without the realistic vision necessary to lead. Of course Obama wouldn't even make a good staff guy because he is not only stupid but delusional as well so while Newt is better than Obama, we deserve better.

Breitbart.com : Obama: If you love me, pass my jobs bill

The economy is a close loop system that is we print money and churn it in the USA. We lose money through things we buy from foreign sources and get money from things we sell to foreign sources. We need to sell things to foreign sources to improve our economy. Everything else is simply churning it does not add to the economy. Every facet of Obama says churn the money ant let government skim off the cream. Every plan makes it harder for US companies to compete for sales world wide. and every Obama plan makes it more difficult for the world to invest in America. It is really not hard. The old saying that The Business of America is Business is just as true now as it was in the 1800's. Obama is the antithesis of growth. He just seem out of his element. China got it. No matter how bad it seems in their free market zones, the people come there from the country where it is worse.

The CONSITIUTION was adopted on September 17, 1787, by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and ratified by conventions in each U.S. state (BY THOSE ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE) in the name of "The People". Who is Spooner anyway? Why would someone who knows so little have any credibility regarding the US Constitution when he obviously doesn't know the first thing about it..

Personal Money Store Financial News Blog : Will Chevy Volt battery warranty convince electric car skeptics?

Seems to me that when you buy one of these things you are really buying a guaranteed $15K battery replacement cost some 9 years from the original purchase date. Compare that with a gas motor not GM (my 89 Trooper has 250K miles doesn't burn oil and runs great. when the engine does go it only costs fifteen hundred to replace not fifteen thousand.) This means the volt is worthless after maybe a year or two because a new buyer would be looking at a $15K replacement cost in a relatively short time. If this thing depreciates like all other GM products, by year 8 or 80,000 miles one would have to pay about $10K to get rid of their Volt. And with the traditional GM quality the entire car might fall apart around the battery before that happens. Bet they turn green then! My last gm product was an olds diesel. same promises, same crap. The GM motto seems to be Apply what you don't do well (build cars) to something trendy.

It will be interesting to see the actual warranty language. Do they just replace a failed cell (one out of 300) at 8 years to get it to limp along to the warranty limit or do they replace the entire battery pack? Is there a percent burn down like other batteries (72 month battery failing in year 5 gets you $1.50 or 5% of the battery replacement cost.

These dead duck congressmen need to just go home now. They have been voted out OUT!!! They do not represent their districts nor do they have any future with their warped ideas. Those left standing like the speaker come from basically socialist districts comprised of thos that don't. The new congressmen come from districts comprised of those that do. Hopefully there will be no more votes till the new congress is seated. Then we can rag on them.

look up Admiral James B. Stockdale to see what SNL can do to an honorable person. You'll never watch it again. Show his bio to your friends and then let them look at the skit SNL did on him. If that doesn't anger your friends you probably shouldn't have them for friends.

It is clear the established Republicans are against Palin. Of course we will have to vote them out ASAP too. Every time someone like Barbara Bush says something like "she is pretty, I hope she doesn't run" The anger bigotry and contempt the upper class government types have for a person most of us can identify with. It is too bad George is sleeping in the bed Clinton gave him. Of course the established meatheads (democrats) are afraid of her. Just like teenagesr are afraid of growing up meatheads are afraid of grownups. So Palin has most of the establishment against her. Just like Chavez and MLK did in the 60's. That just leaves about 60 percent of the US citizens supporting her. At this point I think it would be better to be the kingmaker rather than the king. Palin could better leverage her influance by getting a conservative nominated to run against Omaba. She coul pick her allies and leave the likes of Trent Lott in the dust. What Palin has is a hughe collition and that is where her power lies. President, Why? President Maker......That is power and a way to leverage the ideas for the rest of us.

Hey, I looked at your other posts and have concluded you're really dumb or working for the government, Mulkowski or whatever her name is, or obama. The last three don't imply you are any smarter than dumb though. Palin got it right and as a middle of the road republican that is normal for her.

Seems Alaskans have a choice among a decorated vet, a daddy's spoiled little girs, and a person who will give their money away. Based on the CBS and affiliates reporting, I don't think you can believe anything said about Joe Miller. You'd probably get better balanced news from PRAVDA. CBS, news you can take to the trash.

Has anyone thought of selling BP tar balls on e-bay? Could be a great business. Sounds like they are so plentiful you can just go pick up thousands. Why is every story about the woe and doom from nitwits who look for my tax money as hand-outs. People who can make turds from gold bricks, I say. Why are they even on the earth?
