Big Government : The F Troop: How the GOP Candidates Failed Simply by Showing Up at MSNBC/Politico 'Debate'

Is there more of a backstory here? WHY did the Reagan Museum allow this debate to be run by MSNBC? There has got to be more to this. In my view none of those that spoke will be the candidate. Romney and Perry cannot be trusted. Newt and Paul are not marketable and the rest do not matter. CHRISTIE / RYAN 2012...I can dream.

Big Hollywood : After Massive Price Hike, Netflix Doubles Down By Enforcing Streaming Limit

NFLX is super cheap even at 7.99 per month. It has a monopoly because the content creators are making the same mistake they did with music. They try to get people to pay too much for content, have no portal for them to get it and that lets Itunes, AMZN and NFLX come in and take the market. NFLX pays for itself if you watch 2 or 3 movies per month or watch a few TV shows. Paying a la carte for content on AMZN or ITunes is expensive, so NFLX is a perfect niche. The studios are stupid. They could have set up streaming of their own catalogs for a fee. They could have done a consortium like Orbitz (owned by the airlines to sell tickets), and they would have then been the NFLX--creating their own portal that they sell their catalogs for subscription. They did not. These morons kept worrying about attacking pirated content and trying to maximize the cost per sale, rather than going for volume like NFLX and Itunes did. NFLX is worth more than all the movie studios combined.

Wonder if she will let her daughter hang out with Roman? Little booz, little rape, it's all good right? I mean if you approve of other people's kids getting raped then why not your own?

Big Hollywood : Casey Anthony: The Burden of Proof in a 'Law and Order' World

Nice article. Americans see the criminals as victims now, no surprise since the moral fabric of this country has gone the way of jersery shore; if the people in this country are becoming more and more blatantly corrupt and scandalous then how can we expect anything different in courts made up of these same people. They relate themselves not to the murder victim or the rape victim, but to the murderer or rapist. In civil courts, it is sue, sue, sue! Ever since the McDonalds $92mm coffee case, civil court is a lottery and every one has become a con artist, trying to get some for them. America is as good as its people, and on the whole we have lost our sense of decency. That result can be seen everywhere.

Big Government : National Council of La Raza Funding Skyrockets after Obama Hires Its VP

Well said, if La Raza wants funding, get it from members who support their cause, not directly from the government .....and so i guess with this group, taxpayers will still be paying but this way at least indirectly. The members have to choose to donate part of their money that they earn or are given by the government.

Breitbart.tv : Embarrassing: College Democrats Voice Insipid Reasons for Being Democrat

Lay off the dope references to democrats; you sound like a democrat saying that, just like they say all tea partiers are racists which is untrue. Alcohol is more dangerous than smoking grass, but like anything it is "too much" that is the issue (though hard drugs any amount is too much). And republicans are known for drinking in excess. Regardless of whether true or not, stop stereotyping unless the data/facts support you. Btw I am a republican, and have no problem if someone sits at home and smokes dope....So long as I am not paying for it with my taxes, either the dope or the luxury of sitting at home and not working. If you can afford (on your own dime) to sit home and smoke dope, drink, or just pick your nose, eat and crap all day, I really do not care.

Hi. I am a democrat because I am unattractive, weak in all forms of the word, and pretty unintelligent or at least too lazy to try. I have no idea what I think because I never bothered to really try to understand anything, my professors and NPR tell me what to think and how to act. I am a blind follower with low self esteem and crippling personal insecurities that I cannot deal with on my own. The democrat cult makes me feel better about my pathetic self, and teaches me to attack anyone that succeeds by working harder than I refuse to do. I want to become a millionaire by not actually doing anything but by thinking about stuff and getting paid to tell others what to do or what they should do. I am a democrat. I am a loser.

Big Government : 'Doobie' Brothers Ron and Barney

A PERSON OF STRONG MORAL CHARACTER DOES NOT NEED ANY LAWS TO KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG, AND ACT ACCORDINGLY. AND A PERSON OF NO MORAL STANDING WILL ACT AS SUCH REGARDLESS OF THE LAWS. To all those that somehow thing that laws dictate morality are idiots. Weed being illegal has not stopped anyone from using it. The volstead act did nothing to stop alcohol consumption or abuse. The war on Weed does nothing but allow a bunch of govt workers to have bs jobs that create nothing of value. We spend billions to stop people from getting high and sitting on the couch. They are really doing a lot of harm. I would rather alchohol be illegal since the drunk drivers are a bigger threat to safety. Frank wants this legal from his no morals point of view, but Paul wants this legal from a practical view. Lets not forget that making weed illegal has put a huge $$ premium on the cost of weed, making it lucrative for drug dealers (and cartels) to traffic in it. Gee that is not much different than when alchohol was illegal. Then the gangsters had a great new business with guaranteed demand. And to all the comments about prostitution being legal too....it should be. Why do I care if a woman or a man sells their body? Please draw me a line between what constitutes a hooker and "trophy girlfiriend"....all you do is pay more for the use of the latter's body. Please remember: A person of strong moral character does not need ANY laws to know what is right or wrong, and act accordingly.
