Now I have no control over temperatures of foods so I can't say much about that. As for undated food, the only thing I can see is lemons that are cut daily and sometimes twice a day. I don't take my kids very often because I have no peace of mind when I am there with them. Even in calmer waters it's just too big of a lake and it only takes a minute for something awful to happen. My 7 year old really likes to test the limits and she is much more confident in her swimming abilities than she should be. I'm so sorry to the families. I know that the father that was there with them didn't mean for anything to happen but I wonder why he would condone swimming in that water yesterday. I wonder if the other boys families knew what they were doing. It is one thing to let your own children take risks like this but this man shouldn't have been there with other peoples kids....it almost seems criminal. I am sorry to sound so harsh...but it doesn't seem like the adult here had any regard for the safety of these boys. In the 10 years living outside of Granger I have lost power 3 times and it was never for more than a day. My mother lives in Granger and guess what, she still doesn't have power! There were times when we lost power for 4 or 5 days and I remember one time in particular that it was out for 9 days! Come on people don't believe that AEP is trying harder for anyone except the true emergencies. My grandmother lives in an assisted living facility where they have power locks on the doors so people can't just walk in or out...a necessity for some of the residents protection like my Grandma who has Alzheimers. The power was knocked out there and yes of course it was priority! People need to stop and look at the big picture. No they haven't forgotten about you.
