Speaking for myself, it's not just that the movie is offensive but that the writers went out of their way to make sure it didn't go too far for other minorities - even going as far as *changing* a racially offensive line. South Park, for example, pokes fun at *everyone* and that's fine (I'm a fan of South Park), but when a writer/director goes out of his way to make sure some minorities aren't offended but has no problem offending others, especially a minority still struggling to get the world to acknowledge them on a social level, it's more like a Hollywood-endorsed bully.
