I hate to say it... But I think the Wachowski's might be able to do a good version of Akira... After seeing what they did with Speed Racer, I think they have the cornerstones in place to make a good Akira. That being said, it would probably suck... But it could be awesome too, so hey...

I'm such a huge F1 fan, how did I not notice the Monaco GP track on his screen... What the hell. This is going to be awesome though. If anyone is wondering, I'm guessing that Rourke's character is somewhere in the N-O-P area on the Monaco map. It looks like the Marina section of the track.
