There's a condo assoc in Iowa City that got flooded in '08 and all the home owners got assessed a little over $20,000, so the lake delhi assoc members should be able to handle a $12,000 assessment. ($10 mil/830 assoc members = $12,000 assessment each)

There's a homeowners assoc in Iowa City that assessed all the assoc members a little over $20,000.00 each back in 2008, and it's private and they got nothing from FEMA, so $12,000.00 assessed to each assoc member at LD should be doable.

Instead of FEMA funding this "dining & drinking" patio, they should direct that $2,000,000.00 towards a new bridge that's really needed and goes somewhere, like the county road that passed over the Maquoketa River at the Lake Delhi dam.

UIHC has a skywalk as you can't get from first floor to first floor into the new PFP from the older part of the hospital. And Mercy in Iowa City has a skywalk that connects the hospital to the parking ramp & the Dr's offices & clinics.
