I believe Roosevelt was the only GOP president to win the Nobel Peace Prize. He, of, course created our national park system. Can anyone image a GOP president implementing such a terrific and forward thinking plan today? Bush, of course, tried to sell our parks to the highest bidder for development. and destruction.
