To the sports editor. It seems that daily you have an article on CSU--football, basketball. new coach, stadium etc. Great for CSU for all that is going on with them. . However, if I wanted to read about CSU, I would subscribe to the Ft. Collins paper (or, evidently, even the Loveland paper). I'm fairly confident the Coloradoan doesn't care to cover CU as you seem to want to cover CSU. Guess you need the business.

To clarify, no CU teams are called "Lady Buffs" anymore. It is disapointing that our "home town" paper had to have a writer from the Denver Post write the article on this national championship team. While on that point, I'm wondering if the Ft. Collins Coloradoan or even the Loveland paper has as much coverate on CU as the BDC supplies CSU football?

This article is certainly not a news story, but simply the author's (or her editor's) pointed perspective and that of TWO women (one who does not even live in Boulder and doesn't support the school). It does not represent alumni, women and barely even "some" as the title suggests.

Another "enlightend" article from Sara Kuta and the BDC. This headline should read Two Alumni (I'm not sure if Mardi is an alumnus or not)--and why that makes this a news story. And, while this certainly might present a valid perspective, I'm also wondering why she had to tell us that both of these women were successful, professional educated women as if that mattered in validating her point or not.

The athletic department paid for 110 students to attend--money well spent on the right group. And, according to reports, there were close to 3000 from Colorado in attendance in Albuquerque--an impressive total. Congratulations to all.

The Pac-12 has agreed to a 12-year television contract with ESPN and Fox that reportedly will more than quadruple its media rights fees and be the most valuable for any conference in college sports. Maybe this article should have worked to clarify and understand why so few came to this open meeting. Because of this lack of participation, there is no picture of what parents "want." I would hope there would be more use of technology to gain input from the community.
