how can you like a guy who does roids and pays off MLB to do nothing about it? absolutely irresponsible by the league and im still furious about it i really want to know his reaction to braden's perfect game though. whos mound is it now? (insert demeaning curse here).

patterson coming up is pure speculation. on the other hand, very likely and possible. sorry, mr montanez, but youre hitting .114 after the os finally gave you a chance to come up and impress. you only have 4 hits in 35 at bats, including 9 straight games you have played in now and gone hitless. adam jones still has nagging injuries i think. missed a big catch yesterday, not hitting, its probably like with jj and gonzo where the team does not report the injury so nobody knows about it

love the nickname you gave him. almost as bad as cy young. or josh beckett. well beckett doesn't move, he just takes 10 mins per pitch. at the game sunday he was taking forever and my whole section (18, so right on field level next to dugout) was heckling him. no wonder joe west hates him. i totally get now why the yankees and red sox suck. their pitchers take forever to pitch and they think they are better than everyone else so they can do things at their own pace. i was hoping the umps this past weekend would call a delay on beckett.

Baltimore Sports Report : Koji set for return to Baltimore?

was this a group interview im assuming? read the same type of stuff on a few other blogs. but awesome that you got to take part! the short answers are probably because, just like in all sports, he is told what to say to some things. he is told how to respond when people ask when hes coming up, and as for other questions he is just told not to say too much. thats why i love minor leaguers and when i get to talk to major leaguers on a more casual setting, like at a game. for instance, your britton interview was awesome because the kid could say what he wanted, so he could give full answers. just like at os games when guys like albers, alan dunn, guthrie, and jones talk to me from just seeing me and talking a lot, i can ask them things and they can give me a legit answer, not the crap the team feeds them.

Baltimore Sports Report : Minor League Headline - Chris Tillman

my thought exactly. its been rough so far for him. while yes, even a guy on a good night would have trouble getting a no-no, seeing as most pitchers on good nights cant, but lets see. hopefully this is a sign that he can throw some games now of 1 or 2 run ball in 6+ innings.

http://brittghiroli.mlblogs.com/archives/2010/04/look_for_bergesen_to_start_sat.html thats the link to britt ghirolis blog (main beat reporter for os). it is her claim that bergesen is most likely up. i wrote this to talk about options, but it is 95% chance to be bergesen. @zach why will bergy pitch if he is needed this weekend? new side story with it. chris tillman no-no. very positive sign about him after a rough start. he isnt the option now, but if he keeps up at a good pace, look for him mid-season. im hoping by august or so we can establish the future rotation. next season would be great if we could have a confident 5: millwood, matusz, bergesen, tillman, arrieta.

i have to disagree with something the prospects arent panning out? seriously? there are some huge positives in the minors this year. rhyne hughes for one. xavier avery is a guy on fire. arrieta is owning everybody. lots more. i followwww.oriolesprospects.com look out on that stuff. they are panning out. just not like we hoped guys like bell would.

Baltimore Sports Report : Win Two Tickets to O's vs. Red Sox on April 30th!

I hate the Red Sox because of how they are becoming more like the Yankees. That is in two ways: 1) The fans. At OPACY, O's fans used to be able to only get annoyed when the NYY were in town with the invasion of fans. Now, there are busloads of Bostonians and New Englanders invading our city everytime the Sox come in, and they just are obnoxious idiots. The ushers and concession workers I know have told me that they tip worse and are ruder than Yankees fans even. That's just sad. 2) The team. The Red Sox won the World Series only a few years ago with a well grown team with guys like Manny, Ortiz, Damon, Millar, and Nixon. Now, they just are becoming another Cashman-esque organization. Instead of raising a competitive team for themselves, they just go out and buy the likes of Lackey, Cameron, Scutaro, Beltre, Bonser, and Hermida. They barely want to even use Buchholz anymore, and they got rid of their future guy in Justin Masterson. These things are all expected from the Yankees, but it's just sad that the BoSox have to stoop down to this low of a level. This is why I hate the Boston Red Sox.

Baltimore Sports Report : Series Preview: O's @ A's

thanks for the positive support on the writing yall! who is mr pilson? as for the road trip, it could be positive to get out of home, but i have my doubts. its two sided. could be good to get out because fans are being so not supportive lately at home. but then again, we have always been (in terms of the last few years) one of the worst teams on the road. so who knows. rbis are key. 1-2-3 guys for us were 5th last season in mlb in rbis, this year we only have 2 total. thats dead last. they showed this on pregame today.
