The people who were to protect children were in collusion with the criminal. Do you know that there is a NY State law that teachers and institutions are required to report child abuse and if this is not done, the teacher will be prosecuted for the endangerment of a child. In Bergen county a local Rabbi housed for almost two years Rabbi Lanner a convicted child abuser and a former YU teacher and the former head of NCSY. The housing Rabbi himself was employed at YU as a teacher, what joy. It was known from the 1970s of Rabbi Lanner's sexual assaults on children and the religious community looked the other way.
