Benjamin Franklin was right. “I observed that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves.”

Very disappointing to find here a suggestion to further enable and prop up the welfare state. The problem is that there are too many parasites draining the productive. A more efficient way to suck people dry is not the answer. We need to cut government, not find ways to finance its continual growth.
