<title>Big Hollywood : RACIAL BLACKMAIL: Maxine Waters Hammers NBC Over Minority Hiring</title>
<link>http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/jjmnolte/2010/06/08/racial-blackmail-maxine-waters-hammers-nbc-over-minority-hiring/#IDComment79182218</link>
<description>Maxine Waters is a bully and a thug? She might suck, but it doesn&amp;#039;t mean she&amp;#039;s entirely wrong. All she&amp;#039;s talking about is cronyism -- boys clubs. The writer of this blog should know all too well that in Hollywood you hire your pals (look no farther than Judd Apatow comedy crew and Ben Stiller&amp;#039;s comedy concern). It can make for some great work but it also can run afoul. Dudes can get all insensitive when they feel less than comfy making their inside jokes. It&amp;#039;s what happens when blacks, latinos, or women are in the room. Hollywood like most industries is all about vibe. When you interview candidates are taken if they are &amp;quot;one of us.&amp;quot; It&amp;#039;s helped and hurt me. As batty as Maxine Waters is she ain&amp;#039;t completely wrong. Cronyism isn&amp;#039;t entirely PC -- obviously... But who knows? Maybe that&amp;#039;s what she was trying to say. Maybe she needs to up her gerital intake. Maybe sometimes it&amp;#039;s the singer not the song. It&amp;#039;s a shame to throw out the baby with the bath water. Yeah! Going for the proverb hat trick! </description>
