But I am now hoping, praying, visualizing that I can sell a book and have this home to live in! I felt SO let down when I didn't win the Albq. house-- 'cause I had NM. calling me and I still have my job in N.M. from which I'm on LWOP! So I was SO hoping for that home-- but now here is a chance to make it up to my husband-- if I can give him a home in N.Y. Poor thing, he is SO dejected and feels SO stuck out in Hawaii... I was the one SO wanting the Albuquerque Dream home all through the first 3 months of the year. I even cancelled a trip to Hong Kong in the hope I would be here when HGTV came knocking at the door! This is because my husband moved to Hawaii for my sake and doesn't like it at all. His other job offer had been at a college in NYC. He SO regrets not having taken that job-- as there is no music and theatre or anything here in Hawaii. What would I do if I won a condo in N.Y.? I'd go to the opera, theatre-- but most of all, I'd write my books, try to find agents, go to the NY film academy and see if I can make my movie--- Ooh all my dreams would come true! I have to say that entering the HGTV sweepstakes certianly helped me get through the 2nd cancer-- giving me hope everyday that something good would happen.
