Well I figured it out and would like to share: do not download the IPSW file that they have on the site to use with redsnow, use the one that iTunes used to upgrade your phone. Don't waste your time downloading the file from these guys, you already have it on the hard disk. For windows vista, it is in c:\\users\\your user\\app data\\apple computer\\iphone software updates\\ just point your redsnow there or make a copy of the file somewhere else. Works like a charm! Don't forget you need to search for bootloaders on google or something. I hope this helps! Aloha!
