In prison recidivism is stopped by giving the prisoners an animal to take care. I was suggesting taking this boy out west or Africa and place him on a reserve with animals to care for maybe thus teaching him to show luv through animal therapy
In going to the DV events/townhalls i begin to realize that in telling the WHY it appears to women to give a reason for DV or an excuse. So in discussing why this young boy did this it appears to give him an excuse versus dealing how could he be possibly healed.

Male Anger and Sexual Aggression are at all time high. We as black men need to reach other black males and stop this BS. Personally i wouldn't commit violence toward this boy it is going to take a lot to break through this boy if we can reach him. I think I would try animal therapy out west or in Africa. In America we are obsessed with WHY people do stuff i think we need to stop being concerned with the backstory but more importantly treat the actions. I have been to 3 different town hall meetings from 3 different organizations in the past month about DV, at each one there was only 2-10 men out of 60-70 people. in a way i am glad you told me about this but in another way i am sad. there is nothing that i can offer them currently as an alternative that saddens me.
being that person who doesnt usually become part of the news but just reports the news i am glad to be a part of news for doing something that is groundbreaking and positive. Hash Tags may become the new way to create an online movement if you use them properly.
