Best possible seeding situation imo... hopefully a somewhat easy win against USC and then a rematch against Cal. I like our chances to get 2 wins and lock up a bid in the tourney. Better than a 1st round bye because we need wins (and if we lose to USC we dont deserve to be in the tourney anyway...)

I think we have to assume that the 4.4 is not accurate. Martin says in the article CU is "looking for someone faster". A 6'3" WR who breaks all the state receiving records and runs a 4.4 should have all the big schools offering, and he has NONE, so... I'll trust that Mac know whats he's doing and not freak out that this guy doesnt have an offer from CU. I dont follow HS football very closely and havent seen him play, but I'd have to believe there is a reason he has no "good" offers.

Did Howland (a 55 year old adult) really describe our RPI as "off the hook"?

Mills is worse, so yeah, as far as our back-up big men go I totally agree, we are in SHT shape.

I didn't mean that he is a total liability in college, he's not. But in college he can just sort of float around doing his thing, playing 3/4/5, hustling, getting easy putbacks, going up against less athletic people, but as a 3 in the NBA? He would absolutely be a liability on offense.

Now... off subject, but since we're having a friendly debate I would personally rate Dinwiddie and Scott as better NBA prospects. But thankfully that's not being discussed atm...

you seem to have some issues with Tayshawn Prince or something lol... personally I have no feelings one way or the other but I think Prince would DESTROY him one on one. We're talking about a gold medal winning NBA champ who is a polished NBA scorer, 2" taller, and a very good defender himself against a college guy who isn't a very good shooter OR post player? Come on, don't be silly...

Sure, he's a good defender, great rebounder and he always plays hard but that alone doesn't make you a potential NBA star. You can't be a total liability offensively. Like the OP said at 6'7" and skinny he can be a VERY good college player but he's a total tweener and I personally don't see how his game translates to the NBA. If he was 6'10" 240lbs he'd be a top 5 pick for sure but he's not...

Tayshaun Prince? Sorry, that's a bad analogy, completely different type of player. Prince could dribble, shoot, and create his own shot coming out of college. Roberson can't. Andre really tried to force things offensively early in the season and didn't play well at all (probably trying to show the scouts he improved offensively but he really hasn't much). Lately he's gone back to his old way of playing and has been much more effective.
I love him here and for selfish reasons I hope he stays but yeah, I totally agree that if he's gonna be a 1st rounder he would be foolish not to go. However, I really don't see how anyone would spend a 1st round pick on a WAY undersized 4 that would just be a "hustler/rebounder" type at the end of the bench. If he ever wants to be a starting 3 in the NBA he needs to MAJORLY develop his offensive game, which is why I think he'll be back next year. Good for the Buffs!

And I don't mean to sound like a jerk, I really like Roberson, I'm just saying it how I see it...

Looks like a great TV schedule, but haven't we been hearing for months that EVERY football and men's basketball game will be televised? Why isn't the Pac-12 network picking up those two MWC games?
