I wish they would look at putting up a run or three at Ellis Park. There are less residents in the area after the flood, and the swimming pool and softball diamonds are between the "park" and the residential area. With the locations of the current and proposed dog areas, I might as well take my dog to Iowa City- - it would be less of a drive, and I hate to say that, because I REALLY want a dog park that I can frequent. That having been said, it'd be nice if they'd let us know how we can help with this stuff. I'd be willing to volunteer some time if it would keep costs down or get them up and running faster (at least they're options, even if they are so far away).
