I live in CR and work in IC. It gets old driving to and from twice a day 5-6 days a week. Plus, parking in IC is such a pain. I would gladly ride the train. Although a third lane would also help the heavy traffic on I380, you can't possibly think "nobody would ride a silly train." There are a lot of people going back and forth between cities.

People steal pumpkins every Halloween and that doesn't make news. But I guess most don't pay $200 for something worth maybe $20. Since the wreath was so expensive, why wouldn't they have displayed it inside? I blame both sides of this story.

I was thinking that, too. What happened from when he got out of the pool and was breathing on his own to when he was admitted to the Children's Hospital? There may just have been too much damage and trauma for him to recover.

Yesterday, KCRG reported that Alliant Energy is eliminating 70 positions in Cedar Rapids.... Hopefully these people and the temporary employed can find a job in the upcoming months.

Tentatively scheduled to be released in January after being convicted of drunken driving 10 TIMES?! I wish he would have succeeded in killing himself because now it's only a matter of time before he's back on the roads and likely to kill someone else.... Makes me sick.

Another article regarding this says: "People who consume under-processed SpaghettiO's may experience gastrointestinal problems such as nausea and and vomiting," and go on to say that "much of the possibly contaminated SpaghettiO's have likely been consumed." Why did it take so long to recognize that there was a problem? They discovered the problem through a routine warehouse inspection. Maybe they should do inspections more often.

This is a federal case so even though it happened in Iowa, the government has the control. The case went through all the phases and Honken and Johnson were sentenced to capital punishment.
