I suggest if people want 5.0.1 they hurry while apple is still signing 5.0.1 though I'm still not convinced the 5.0.1 clean restore fixed my problem as the first thing I had to do after restore was eject and reinsert my SIM (iphone reboots weren't helping). Perhaps this is due to my self-cut SIM Card being incompatible with 5.0.1?
