It builds up your immune system? They are probably immune to all illness by now.

As a gay person, I feel that it is a matter of personal safety to know about such hate groups. As a cosumer of news, it is my preference and right to have this information if I want it. I see valid arguments for not elevating what these people do, but they don't supercede my right to information.

I leave in the DC metro area and anyone here or on the east coast may have noticed that it is a bit windy today. During the last wind storm, one of my neighbors gutters detached from their town house. It is about 3 feet from my bed room window and the wind banged it against their house all night. I don't think they've fix it yet. If it happens again tonight, I think I will go next door and kill them. I really need my sleep. Fair or unfair?

Thanks for posting this. Your story is pretty inspiring.

For those who don't think even a small amount can matter, I present this to you. I heard this story on NPR and got curious. I negotiated my salary at my current job and it was my first time trying. I had nothing to lose because it was job I wasn't sure I wanted in a city that I wasn't sure I wanted to live.

I succesfully negotiated a my salary a bit (by a few thousand per year). Measly really, but I did some calculations after hearing this NPR story. My company puts the % of my salary into a retirement fund yearly % into my 401K. This is money from the company, not me.

The small raise I negotiated at the start gains me about $60,000 in the next 6 years (this is predicting modest yearly raises and doesn't include any return on my investments). Thats $10,000 a year. I was truly floored. It was well worth it and I will never not negotiate again.
