the uncultured project : Christmas Wish List

Can't help you much with the other stuff... but light weight blogging/twittering I may be able to help come up with a solution for you. There's a couple great apps for facilitating exactly that, and what still falls short we make ourselves. ;) Assuming you have some sort of cell phone with you, and you have signal. no iPhone/Smartphone required Though... they certainly would make it easier. ;)

the uncultured project : What I Was Doing In Kenya

Like I mentioned before... I knew Vestergaard Frandsen had a high "Awesome" content level, from them donating nets and what not to UP... but now it's pretty evident that their level is inching upwards to pure awesome... I shared this vid with my girlfriend who works at an international non-profit and was a peace corps volunteer in a country in Africa and she was amazed at the number of people they got tested for HIV. I'm not sure Americans (and others) understand how big of a deal that over 47,000 people got tested out of some 50,000ish people (a guess from the numbers given) for HIV. That truly is an amazing percentage. And while it may be a drop in the bucket over all... it's one amazingly BIG drop that's for sure.

the uncultured project : Full Medical Disclosure: Iron Poisoning from Bangladesh

Hope that gets back to normal soon. Is it that those tube wells need to be replaced? (which I'm guessing is likely...even if it isn't the source) Or is it localised pollution effecting the ground water?
