Only Amazon's digital service currently gives iTunes competition. as far as 'Apple did NOTHING novel or inventive' I disagree. although apple did not invent the mp3 or mp3 player they did however create product that was far better quality (fit and feel) than everyone else and also created a method to easily populate the player with music. like it or not the iPod changed everything as far as music s concerned.
