I have a question. In Salem, there are mascots that are all warriors from ancient times. Why doesn't the board of education get on the ball and crack down on the fact that all ancient times were not all about fighting? "This is what we are teaching the kids with the names of these schools" Come on, all across the country we have Native American names. I was hoping to keep the "Umpqua" in our name, because I embrace my country's culture and love all the tribes that we represent in this area. How cool is it that we have so many tribes in this area that we can celebrate? Where is this final discussion going to be? I would like to be one of the people to sound off on this.
Oh-my-goodness! Do you NOT know that the fans put their hands together in an "O" shape? The O stands for OREGON! These gloves are the coolest around, no team in the nation has anything like them. Thanks Uncle Phil!

I tend to agree. The parents have asked that we keep things on the positive side and not put so much attention on Terri. I would hope people could find it in their hearts to see that and do it for Kyron. I feel exactly the same way, but vigilante protesting is not going to get Teri to do anything. If anything, it could give fuel to the fire for that lawyer of hers. Lawyers can be awful and use anything. You have to be careful what you do. Just give love to the family and support where they ask. That is all I think we can do. Let the courts handle it. I would love to see some positive talk about the family. They read this stuff, but they won't read stuff in support of Terri, or when it gets negative. I am sure they are in counseling, so they know what they should be doing and not. :) Just a friendly reminder. Don't thumb me down, please.
I tend to agree. I think that things need to remain on the positive side. We all have our opinion on TH, and feel how she should just do the right thing. The point is, we need to focus on Kyron and the positive side of things. That is what they have asked us to do.

For ONCE I wish these posts could be about positive things, like the love for your son and giving your family love. I realize that people have their right to talk about TH. I have those feelings as do you. We are trying to keep the focus on Kyron. I pray that your dear son is being taken care of and that you two, and Tony, too; are taking care of yourselves. That is so important. Remember that we all love you and are working to bring your baby home. We feel like he is our little boy, too.

I miss you, Kyron. As your birthday approaches and I see your parents on TV getting sadder as they are interviewed, I think of my own children. I have a son just like you. One thing that has come of this is that I have learned to not take them for granted anymore. I know that is something that you would want to come of all of this. I pray that your captors are keeping you safe. I won't ( and can't ) let myself think any other way. You will be brought home. I saw them move the wall of hope with all the notes and stuffed animals. There were lots of people and lots of little kids who love you! I saw a Kermit the Frog; my husband does Kermit's voice. I would love to have him do Kermit for you one day! My son that is like you watches your parents all the time and we pray for you a lot. Please take care of yourself. Remember that you are loved very much all over the world!

Ok I have a question for you. If your family saw them, I would imagine they were the ones that called 911. why did they not take the child WITH them?? Or whom ever called 911 should have stayed with the child. That is child endangerment to leave a child on the freeway at that time alone. I would NEVER leave a child I would wait with him or her or take them to a public place until the authorities arrived. That doesn't make sense to me at all.
