the Yes Men are hysterical. i saw them at their screening in Berlinale and they showed up in these huge pink, nipple shaped costumes and just had the crowd in stitches. the make the corporates look like total idiots and sometimes you wonder how the corporates don't smell them coming a mile away. oh, wait, the corporates aren't paying attention? Really? The Yes Men work on one really brilliant premise: they won't get sued cuz the corporates don't want any more bad publicity and its cheaper just to take the shit. i love it.

the Yes Men are appearing at Sheffield's Showroom Cinema on August 11th for a screening of "The Yes Men Fix the World" in conjunction with Sheffield Doc/Fest. there will be a panel chat afterwards and you can text in your questions and everything. if you are around do come. otherwise you can catch it any other Picturehouse cinema.
