KOMO - Seattle, WA : Orphaned cougar kittens getting second chance at life | Local & Regional | Seattle News, Weather, Sp

Has anyone thought that the hunter made an honest mistake? To chastize someone not knowing them is a bit ridiculous. How can you judge this person's morals over a story on the news? Was it poor judgement? Yes it probably was, if he saw the kittens first, but haven't we all made mistakes. Should he be banished from the face of the earth? That's a little extreme. Is he a vial magot? I think not. Is there anything wrong with hunting? Not at all. Hunting is an ethical way to feed ones family. The meat from the cat that he took will not be wasted. The meat will be eaten just as if it were a deer or an elk. Like all, I am happy to see that the Cubs will be taken care of. I am most happy to see that they are going to a zoo and won't be reintroduced into the wild to kill other game animals. I can tell from the comments posted today that most of you don't hunt and share strong opinions of those that do. To the hunter in this case, may you learn from your mistake and hopefully be able to enjoy your time in the woods with your family. It is great tradition to pass on.
