I can only describe the noise best in two different ways - a beehive in my head or the high whine from electrical wires - this is 24/7 - never stopping. At night when it is quiet, I can hear no outside noises at all. It can be very debilitating when trying to listen to a conversation - especially if there are background noises. If they ever find a cure for this I will be ecstatic.
