How in the world is Emerson 7 months old already?? I swear he was just born yesterday! And Dawson looks like a bona fide little boy, nothing baby-like about him anymore. :-( Why do babies have to grow up so fast?

One of my pet peeves is when parents pay absolutely no attention whatsoever to their children. Every time we go to the park or playground I have to fend off older kids from trampling my 2-year old on the slide or pushing him off the climbing rocks because he's not going fast enough for them. I just stare at their parents (who are either engrossed in conversations on their cell phones or texting) until they feel the heat of my anger on their heads.

I probably wouldn't go back. If the kids are all older and expected to run around and play while the adults socialize, then that's not really doing Carina any good. I would try to find a group with more babies her age that she can interact with, and who won't try to pick her up. :-)

Well, the school actually told us that he wanted to go into the potty when his friends went, but he would just sit on the potty for two seconds and jump off and say "I did it!" So we figured he was close enough to ready to at least attempt to potty train. He really did great with it!

It's so nobody can right click and copy my pictures. It's been done before, so I'd like to make it a little more difficult for would-be picture stealers. I don't think it records your IP address, or if it does I can't find where it's stored!

That is very encouraging! I love hearing about successful VBACs. My C-section wasn't a bad experience or anything, but I got to just sit around and heal for a couple of weeks last time. This time I'll have a toddler to chase around and tend to, so if I can give birth vaginally this time I'd like to do that since I hear the recovery time is faster. Thanks for following!
