Those are very good points. I hadn't considered what else they could do, besides just charge for the information once they had a "captive audience" at the dinner.

It doesn't actually say save "hundreds of thousands of dollars", but "hundreds to thousands of dollars". I read it "hundreds of thousands" at first glance, also. At first I was trying to figure out how many years it would take to save "hundreds of thousands of dollars" on my utilities, and decided I wouldn't live that long, anyway (although sometimes my utilitie bills seem quite high). I didn't receive a card--maybe they know I don't fall for stupid stuff like this. I hope nobody else does--they'll get money out of the attendees, somehow.

I wish he'd just go away. Oh, wait. He DID go away ... unfortunately, they let him out. Ughhh!

I have two huge, very noisy, very protective dogs. Oh, and a very noisy .357 magnum S&W--not to mention my 6'8" Marine son lives right next door. And I also keep my doors and windows locked. I think I've got it pretty well covered. If the robbers have any brains at all, they won't be coming near my place. I hope they catch them soon (hopefully, with at least some dog bites).

A huge "Thank you" to Patti Bradfield whom, I believe, first brought IBC to KOMO's attention after her daughter, Tina, was diagnosed with it. Unfortunately, Tina lost her courageous battle, but her mother continues in her tireless efforts to inform and educate health officials and the public about IBC. Keep up the good work, Patti and Michelle.

If he gets his kicks with this kind of stuff (e.g., "showing off"), maybe he should be in porn flicks. Wouldn't even have to change his name. (Allegedly he "coached" a porn star about dealing with the press, or whatever, so he apparently already has connections in that business?) The worst things are that he did this when he is married, not to mention that his wife is pregnant, and that he LIED to everyone! Why are some people so stupid?!

I figured out this trick years ago, but I brush AND floss after dinner. Then I really don't want to eat anymore because I don't want to have to brush and floss again. It works for me about 99% of the time.

On MSNBC there is a report of a 60-year-old man being rescued 9 miles out to sea, off the Japan coast, on a piece of roof. I hope Dustin found a log to hang onto and that he is found alive. What a sad thing to happen to someone who had survived such a rough life and turned it around. My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and friends.

I don't care about the "whys" or "wherefores"--I'm just glad this had a happy ending and he is alive and well. Too many similar stories that end sadly these days.
