912 is about uniting as a country...the way we did on 9-12-01, without regard of political affiliation.
The tea parties are about letting our Government know they work for us. ALL of them. Not just Frank, Dodd, Reid and Pelosi. McCain, Martinez, and Rooney are just as guilty for not LOUDLY decrying the atrocious behavior on the Hill. By going along, they too, are the problem as well.

Here in Florida, Senator Mel Martinez has expressed that he won't be seeking another term.
I have e-mailed him asking for his help and support in my campaign.
Being an average working-class American that's out of work, I need all the help I can get. I'll have to print out about 105,000 petiton copies to get my name on the ballott.....nevermind all the other expenses of getting my name out.

Rob, we really can't afford to wait until the next election. We need to motivate our representatives to start working for our interests NOW.
4 trillion dollars in 60 days!!!! How much more in the hole will we be in a year??!!!

I really like k7's post.
I am very interested in running for office, and think that these limits would help the common man make it. We can't be led by lawyers any longer. We need to lead ourselves. OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, AND FOR THE PEOPLE.
Politicians run for office these days for selfish reasons.
I want to serve my country by doing what I can for her/

Fellow 13th ammenment-er!!!!
We were supposed to have the right to cede from the union....and esquiers weren't supposed to hold office.
On topic, though:
Term Limits is the biggest. Less chance of corruption. 2 four-year terms, or 1 six year term.
ZERO pork. No exception. Pumishable by impeachment.
Special election for ALL constitutional ammendments, with each senator and congressman voting how their district decided.
