Over half of which was incurred when a Bush was on watch. Now, if you throw in Reagan, remember deficit spending? You now have 70% of the debt created under 3 Republican Presidents. And if you look at the budgets submitted by these Presidents only 2 of the 20 submitted were balanced. So much for GOP fiscal responsibility! Since 1776 the US has accumulated a national debt of over $9 trillion. Over half of which was incurred when a Bush was in office. And these three didn't even try to retrain spending, out of 20 submitted budgets, only 2 were balanced. So my question, where did the myth of fiscal responsibility come from when applied to republicans??? Would this same detail to the cause be going on if one of "us" where involved? I would say no, and that intersection would have been reopened within 2 hours.
