9. Cut spending and eliminate waste in the Government: Line by line evaluation and eliminate wasteful departments.

10. Maintain America’s Military Dominance: Cut waste, double research and development.

11. Form a New Manhatten Project: The focus would be upon safety, reliability, and standardization of Nuclear Power Plants. We should take a close look at the French and emulate the success of their nuclear program and build upon it.

12. Commit to Healthcare Reform: As with all things political, the rhetoric has drowned out the reality. Healthcare in America needs to be brought into the 21st Century. Focus on Health Savings Account. Open up competition between healthcare providers. People should be able to shop around and compare prices and services.

5. S ecure both Borders! Finish the wall and back up defense with state of the art detection and security technology. Increase the number of border agents. Crackdown on illegal aliens and the companies that hire them. Institute a mandatory 5 million dollar penalty, per occurrence, on businesses.

6. Institute a Flat/Consumption Tax: The more you consume in the market the more taxes you pay.

7. Require voting be based upon Literacy and Mental Competency:

8. Withdraw from the UN: This is an ineffectual organization that cannot and will not live up to its promise.

1. Form a Citizens Oversight and Accountability Taskforce. This would be composed of 10 common citizens, from each state. The taskforce would be responsible to provide oversight to the Congressmen representing their state.

2. Enact Mandatory Review of any bill submitted to Congress: All bills would be required to also be posted to a government website for public review. Once submitted the bill could not be voted upon until 30 days.

3. Promote Charter and Magnet Schools: Introduce real competition into the public school system.

4. Fully Support and Fund NASA: The benefits of a new dedicated race to Mars should push the envelope further. This would stimulate the economy and provide breakthroughs which would benefit the nation, and secure America’s dominance in space.

THE FREEDOM MANIFESTO: Part 5

We cannot allow Congress to continue to trample the Constitution, without consequence. We must SEND THEM HOME! And we must step up and take their place. The revolution is here, and they have struck the first blow, and it is a telling blow. The question is how will we respond? This is not a battle of arms and violence. The conflict will not be won by force. This is an intellectual revolution. Make no mistake, this is no less than a battle for the heart and soul of this nation.

There is a simple choice to make: Submit or Fight! Make a Stand or Stand aside. Whether you drink Blue kool-aid or Red kool-aid, put the cups down, look around you, and ask yourself these questions: Is this what America was meant to be?? Is the future of our nation in the right hands? Make Your Stand!!

It is time that the common man makes uncommon sacrifices. The political world has been misused, abused and corrupted to the point that you can’t find an honest man in Washington. It is past time that we return the common touch back into our government. We have had enough with Harvard and Yale lawyers. We have had enough of financial wizards and man-boy geniuses. We need plumbers, auto-workers, mechanics, engineers, teachers, farmers, writers, philosophers. We need good men and women, of common touch, common goals, and common sense. It is the duty of all of us capable of serving, to actively engage in the political arena. We must cast aside our distaste and contempt for what the political machine has become, and remembers what it was meant to be. We must answer the call and Serve!

For the fighters! The ones who will be on the frontlines. Be Ready! Educate yourself and others. Read! Engage! Debate! Challenge! Think! Listen! Learn! Act!! Welcome the opportunity to meet your opponents on the battlefield of ideas. Engage the Left with reason, calm, logic, passion, patience and conviction. This is our time!

It is not a time to sit idly by, wringing our hands, full of angst and woe. It is not a time to lament about the falling sky. We have more power than we know. The system has not failed, our “leaders have failed the system”. They need to be called to task. The need to be admonished and they need to be SENT HOME!! They have had their day. The intelligentsia has proved that all the knowledge they have accumulated in the hallowed ivy leagues, is not worth one ounce of common sense! The size of their hubris and arrogance is only matched by their addiction to power and control. They act without consequence or a sense of responsibility. They see themselves as titans, invaluable to our survival. Washington is to Big to Succeed!!

This is not a battle of political parties. This is a battle of ideals, a battle of principles. This is a war in the name of our Constitution. Never, since the Civil War, has the existence of our Republic been in such turmoil. Now in this Un-Civil War, Americans are being called upon to fight for what you believe in. If you believe that Washington has is capable of providing you with all of your needs, desires, wants, then stop reading; sit back; turn off your mind and your conscious, and wait for your check in the mail. If you believe that the government can save you, then keeping swimming with your fellow lemmings, and embrace oblivion with a smile. The true spirit of this nation was never really meant for you anyway. The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Those are more than words; they are a way of life! But you couldn’t possibly understand…so sit back drink your kool-aid (Blue or Red) and relax!

THE FREEDOM MANIFESTO: Part 1

When in the course of extraordinary events, it becomes evident that the very fabric of our society is threatened; the common man must rise and make a stand. When liberty is forsaken in the name of security, the lone voice must gather a chorus of discourse and come out of the wilderness.

We are living in interesting times. We are at the crux, where the very fabric of our Republic is at risk of being unraveled, re-woven, and remade into an image we can scarcely imagine. This is indeed a time of change and equally a time to find out what we a truly made of. Are we the stuff of our forefathers, who weathered wars and famine, plague, and economic disasters, and were made all the stronger for it? Or are we a privileged class, undeserving of the freedoms that were earned with blood, sweat and tears? Our “leaders” and the word is used with both contempt and lightness, would have you believe the latter. Entrenched in their power, privilege and elitism, they would have you bow before their intellectual superiority. They, after all know what is best for the American people.
