I am absolutely beside by self. I recently admitted my grandmother to one of the Ashley Manors. Before doing so I toured 5 different facilities in this Valley. I may not know what is going on with the charges or allegations against that man, but I want it to be very clear that from my experience with Ashly Manor no one there "sits on there lazy asses" as was stated in a post on here. My Grandma lived in Emmett, and a marketer drove to Emmett at 6:30 on a Friday to meet with me and my Grandmother, all the other facilities 8-5 Mon - Fri (funny that is the same hours I work). When we were ready to tour a house, it was April who made time in her day to show us around, and introduce us to the very friendly and caring staff. I cannot believe that anyone would say such mean things about any one who is a staff member at Ashley Manor. During the admissions process I went to the corporate office and signed paperwork, and was introduced to one of the owners who was an awesome and friendly gentlemen. I hope these charge/allegations are false against the man that is accused. I know from asking about the staffing the Ashley Manor has much stricter hiring policies then the other 5 facilities that I toured right here in Boise, which was a very key part of my decision to move my grandma in there, I dont' care who the boss is who is going to be taking care of my Grandma at 2 AM, so with the strictness they use in hiring, if something like this could possibly happen in one of their facilities, I am terrified of what might go unnoticed at the other facilities. I have nothing but kind and good things to say about every single person I have met in my dealings with Ashley Manor, and I know that my grandma says that it is the closest to home she could be even though she had to leave Emmett!!
