Yes, You need to install ultrasn0w to fix your signal bar since your bb 01.59.00 does not match the 5.0.1 firmware bb.

I have an AT&T iphone 4 still running the original iOS 4.0 with bb 01.59.00. I don't have SHSH saved yet. What is the latest firmware can I upgrade to so that I can un-tethered jailbreak and unlock to use for T-Mobile?

Thanks for your help Frank. I have another question. My battery seems drain so fast. This is a new phone so I take it back to the store and they said just update it with version 3.1.3 it will fix it. I don't want to upgrade to 3.1.3. Can I download an original 3.1.2 and restore it? Hopefully it will help on the battery problem.
