Thank you. I already did the jailbreak with Spirit. I will now try the unlock with the Blacksn0w RC2.

I have a 3gs 3.1.3 on 5.11.07. Can I unlock the phone? How?

I have a 3GS on 3.1.2 JB with blackra1n and unlocked with ultrasn0w. As most, when I reboot the phone, I get the connect to iTunes icon. I used to use blackra1n to get it to boot back to normal, but now, as I run it, it shows what it usually does on the phone, but then, it reboots again after some time, looping right back to the connect to iTunes icon.

Has any one come accross the same issue? What can be done?

Hi everyone. Question. I was lucky to purchase last week an iPhone at Best Buy that was still 3.1.2 and unlock it. I backed up hashes through Cydia, but it says that I have 3.1.3 backed up, rather than 3.1.2. Could anyone help me understand what happened? If I need to restore to 3.1.2, will iTunes allow me through Saurik's server?

Another issue I noticed is that everytime I turn the phone off or reboot it, it returns on iTunes recovery mode. I think I am not crazy, but, putting everything together, it seems that Apple is installing or making changes to the phone, even if you do not update. It is like something was changed in order to force you to restore or update the phone. I am not happy about that, as Apple seems to be violating my privacy by secretly changing something on the software in order to force me to update. Has anyone else seen that at all?

Here is my phone's profile:

3GS 32Gb
3.1.2 (7D11)
MB717LL
05.11.07

I thought so, but then, I have had a friend of mine with the same issue and many others on other forums. It would be too big of a coincidense to have so many people with the same problem all of a sudden and around the same time. My iPhone is not new, I have used it for a few months now, so it makes me think that it may not be defect related. I actually wonder if there is a chance that there is some new malicious something doing this to my iPhone.

Sorry if my post is not in the right place. I have an iPhone 3GS with 3.1.2 and baseband 5.11, jailbroken with Blackra1n and unlocked with Ultrasn0w.

I have already had three sim cards inutilized and no longer recognized in any cell phone. Somehow, the iPhone is "burning" them, or something is happening that it is making them no longer recognizable by any cell phone device. Does anyone know what is happening?

I have already looked around other forums and it seems to be happeining to other people as well, but no one seems to know what is going on nor how to fix it. Any help is appreciated.

Long live dev-team!

I have jailbroken and unlocked respectively with Blackra1n then Blacksn0w. I installed the Blacksn0w unlock through Blackra1n and do not have push, GPS, and YouTube working.

I saw many different solutions on different posts. The easiest one seemed to be the "Push Fix" application from iphoneil, however, the app is no longer available.

Can I find the app on another source? Or, is there another solution found?

Thanks

Thank you for the clarification.
