Has any one come accross the same issue? What can be done?

Another issue I noticed is that everytime I turn the phone off or reboot it, it returns on iTunes recovery mode. I think I am not crazy, but, putting everything together, it seems that Apple is installing or making changes to the phone, even if you do not update. It is like something was changed in order to force you to restore or update the phone. I am not happy about that, as Apple seems to be violating my privacy by secretly changing something on the software in order to force me to update. Has anyone else seen that at all?
Here is my phone's profile:
3GS 32Gb
3.1.2 (7D11)
MB717LL
05.11.07

I have already had three sim cards inutilized and no longer recognized in any cell phone. Somehow, the iPhone is "burning" them, or something is happening that it is making them no longer recognizable by any cell phone device. Does anyone know what is happening?
I have already looked around other forums and it seems to be happeining to other people as well, but no one seems to know what is going on nor how to fix it. Any help is appreciated.
Long live dev-team!

I saw many different solutions on different posts. The easiest one seemed to be the "Push Fix" application from iphoneil, however, the app is no longer available.
Can I find the app on another source? Or, is there another solution found?
Thanks
